When fear takes over, it’s easy to shrink, doubt and spiral into worry. But deep within, you have a warrior—resilient, clear and calm.

From Worrier to Warrior: Reclaiming Your Strength by Harnessing Fear

Wednesday, 7 May. 6.30pm – 7.30pm AEST

$20 Standard Ticket. $35 VIP Ticket (includes recording).

We all have a warrior within us—a courageous, grounded and resilient part that rises to meet life’s challenges with clarity and strength. But when fear and anxiety take hold, that inner warrior can feel buried beneath a wave of overthinking and doubt, leaving us feeling more like a worrier than a warrior.

In this empowering and transformative workshop, you’ll discover how to reconnect with your inner warrior—not by ignoring fear, but by learning to understand it. Grounded in the latest neuroscience, we’ll explore how emotions like fear and anxiety are natural, biological responses meant to protect us. When understood and worked with, they can become powerful allies rather than overwhelming enemies.

You’ll learn how to shift your relationship with fear from one of resistance to one of respect—allowing it to point you toward growth, courage and authenticity. Through mindfulness techniques, guided meditation and practical strategies, you’ll begin the process of turning fear into fuel and anxiety into awareness.

What you’ll learn:

Understand how fear and anxiety work in your brain and body — Gain insight into the neuroscience of fear, anxiety and anger and how they’re wired to keep you safe.

Transform your fear into guidance — Learn how to use difficult emotions as a compass for navigating uncertainty with more confidence and clarity.

Awaken the empowered warrior within — Reclaim the part of you that stands firm in the face of fear, using it as a catalyst for resilience, growth and authentic strength.

Facilitated by Nat Mallia

Nat is a Certified Mindfulness Works teacher. She has immersed herself in a life of mindfulness since 2015 after facing the prospect of going blind from a corneal degeneration disease.

She never gave up on the prospect that if she calmed her mind and accepted her situation, she would be ok. After spending three months in a Buddhist meditation centre in 2018, a shift occurred in Nat’s eye and with the help of surgery, a miracle occurred—she regained her sight!

Since leaving an Executive role in the Australian Government, Nat has established her own meditation and wellness practice to share the gifts of mindfulness with others.

Nat is also a certified Wellness Coach and an ACT Mindfully Practitioner and is accredited with Meditation Australia.
