Karl Baker
Karl Baker is the founder of Mindfulness Works. He created the Introduction to Mindfulness and Meditation course, which over 40,000 people have completed.
Karl has been practicing mindfulness and meditation for over 22 years. He leads a team of over 20 certified mindfulness teachers, and regularly runs silent meditation retreats.
Karl has a passion for the self-acceptance and self-loving aspects of mindfulness, as well as exploring mindfulness meditation in creative and human ways. He is also a successful entrepreneur and combines his business and marketing acumen, with supporting mindfulness teachers, so we can all make the biggest positive difference we can to this world.

Glenda Irwin
Glenda holds professional qualifications in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and a Graduate Diploma in Health Science (Psych). She is a member of NZAPP (NZ Association of Positive Psychology), receiving regular guidance to enhance her practice and professional work. As a Master Trainer Coach with ANZCAL, Glenda leads trainings in mindfulness applications for affiliated coaches.

Mindfulness Teacher Training Pricing
The cost for this mindfulness teacher training program is $3,500. This includes:
- 3 days face to face learning
- 3 one hour supervision sessions
- All Introduction to Mindfulness and Meditation course materials (trainer guide and participant guidebook)
- Mindfulness Works teacher training guide
- 12 months gold membership to the Mindfulness Works Certified Teacher Support Program
On-Going Support Program – First 12 Months Included For Free
Once you have completed your initial training, you have the option to join the on-going Mindfulness Works Certified Teacher Support Program. There are two levels of membership, Bronze and Gold. You automatically get a free 12 month subscription to the Gold program after completing the program.
To retain your certification, you will be required to maintain at least a bronze membership every year.

Mindfulness teacher certification application process
Step 1: A 30-minute Zoom meeting with Karl Baker, founder of Mindfulness Works.
Step 2: If you meet the initial criteria, you receive further details about the initial training and ongoing support.
Step 3: We finalise training dates and you pay for your training.
Step 4: You begin your training as well as taking part in the professional development and marketing support.
