Prior to beginning your course, you will receive a 15-minute initial consultation with your course facilitator, Anne Rodgers.

Eight Two and a Half Hour Classes – Total 20 Hours

Over the course of 8 weeks, you will learn scientifically proven mindfulness based tools to manage and reduce stress, anxiety and depression. You will be supported to embed these in your daily life so you can  enjoy the mental health and physical benefits as soon as possible.

Session 1: Mindfulness Fundamentals: Understand the principles of mindfulness, including the importance of living in the present moment and adopting a non-judgmental stance towards your thoughts and experiences.

Session 2: Perception and Creative Responding: Learn various meditation practices such as focused attention on breath, body scan meditation, and loving-kindness meditation, helping you cultivate awareness and calmness.

Session 6: Mindful Communication: Practise mindful listening and speaking to improve communication with others, fostering deeper connections and reducing misunderstandings.

Session 7: Integrating Mindfulness into Daily Life: Discover practical ways to incorporate mindfulness into everyday activities, helping you maintain a mindful attitude and reduce stress in daily life.

Session 8: A Mindful Life: Engage in personal reflection and journaling to deepen self-understanding and encourage continuous personal development.

Day Retreat: A day retreat is run between sessions 6 and 7. This is an immersive opportunity for you to deepen your mindfulness practice in the safety and supportive environment of your own home. This retreat includes sitting meditation, walking meditation, mindful eating, and gentle yoga exercises.
